Ever since I opened up a beautifully wrapped box with the most stunning butterfly patterned tea pot inside for my bridal shower, I was hooked. I had never heard of MacKenzie-Childs before, but my moms best friend apparently knew me better than I knew myself she picked that piece out for me. To be honest, it wasn’t at all what I usually gravitate towards…basically it wasn’t all white or wooden, but I knew it was the perfect fun pattern to mix in with the rest of my simple pieces. I started collecting some more pieces from that same line and in turn even got my mom hooked. Now, each birthday or holiday my step dad buys her a new piece to add to her collection.Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled when I was given the opportunity to work with MacKenzie-Childs and pick out some pieces from their collections to style in my home.
I decided to add some new patterns to my butterfly collection that I could mix and match in with the simple pieces I already owned.
MacKenzie-Childs’ patterns are meant to be mixed and matched and layered. And after this long gloomy cold winter, I was craving the mix of pretty florals and colors. I chose some pieces for their new Morning Glory Collection which may be my new favorite.
I think the Butterfly Collection would look amazing paired with either of the Courtly Check Collections as well.
I just love how fun, pretty and whimsical the whole line is. Every pattern reminds me of an english tea party, which is probably why I was inspired with this tablescape. It’s also perfect for spring and upcoming Easter.
If I were to recommend just one statement piece to add to your home it would be one of their teapots. They look stunning left out on your stove top and I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on mine.
I hope you all enjoyed my new spring tables as much as I did styling it. I’ve linked the sources to all of the items featured below.

A huge thank you to MacKenzie-Childs for sponsoring this post. As always, I only work with companies I use in my every day life and all opinions are my own.
