Between some outdoor projects in the works, work and full weekends, things have been kind of crazy around here lately. Sunday I decided to take the morning nice and slow and easy and did one of my favorite things…baked and photographed;) The fridge was looking kind of bare so I looked up recipes consisting of what I had lying around this is what I came up with. It was delicious (even though I burned the top a little;) Here is the recipe and some snapshots from the morning.

This vintage loaf pan was a recent thrifting find. I think it would even look cute as a little planter on the window sill.

I may have made a teeeeny bit too much, so I made a few muffins out of the left over batter…These actually came out even better…and less messy to eat;)
