There is absolutely no better therapy for me than refreshing my home with each season. I know to some, the thought of cleaning, organizing and redecorating is more stressful than relaxing. But for some reason I look forward to the fresh start and new scenery. As much as I know better than to get too excited about spring being around the corner (you know what they say about New England weather…) I can’t help but start to crave softer colors, bright whites, lighter fabrics, lots of greenery & fresh flowers. Here’s what’s its looking like around here lately.

I got this idea from my talented friend Tanya (@tanya.clark.home on instagram) I flattened a Target dollar spot tin bucket and added some dried hydrangeas I already had. A pretty & free way to add some spring to the entryway:)

I hope you like how I refreshed the entryway, sitting room & desk area for spring. Without buying anything new, I just switched out the pillows, moved around the house plants and added some flowers and greenery. I didn’t realize until I started uploading just how many pictures I took. I basically took enough for a home tour…so I’ll share our living room and dining room tomorrow;) How do you guys like to get your home ready for the change of season?
Love, Layla
